Live Fire Training, Aug 2, 2019 

Between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm on Monday, August 5th, 2019, Teton County Fire & Rescue will be conducting Live Fire Training in a vacant house located at 61 South Beryl St. in Victor. 

This training will produce a considerable amount of smoke and flame will be visible. The fire department will make every effort to minimize the impact to the neighborhood. Keeping windows and doors closed during this time will help to minimize the impact to sensitive groups. There will also be road closures in the training area to ensure safety.

The training event will be conducted in a safe manor at all times and will not pose a direct fire danger to adjacent properties or those within the community.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Donations like this provide safe and realistic situation to practice and sharpen firefighting skills. Firefighters train on truck operations, SCBA operation, hose advancement, pump training, water supply, hydrant operation, hose deployment, and interior fire attack.
