Years of Service: Since 2016
Hometown and Years in Teton Valley:
Born in Lodi, CA: Teton Valley since August 2014
Personal Details (family and hobbies):
Been Happily Married since 2000 with 2 children.  I have lived in many areas around the Northwest states throughout my life.  I enjoy anything that has to do with family and the outdoors.  Have been the proud business owner of a successful drywall, plaster and stucco business since 2008, Artistic Plastering LLC., that does work in the local area along with the Wood River Valley.
Why did you want to become a firefighter?:
In 2002, after purchasing my first house,  I wanted to give back to my community.  Being a bit of an adrenaline junkie, the fire service seemed like a good fit, so I joined as a true volunteer of West Magic Fire (Idaho).  In 2006, after moving Closer to my fulltime job in Hailey, ID, I joined The City of Hailey Fire Department.  Under the guidance/great leadership of Chief Mike Chapman and Deputy Chief Carl Hjelm, I advanced rapidly, served my final year with them in 2014, after a 4 year run as the paid on call Assistant Chief.  I now serve as a paid on call volunteer Captain with Bellevue Fire, and am proud to be part of the team as a Captain with Teton County Fire. Along with many structural fire and EMT certifications, I am a certified Wildland Fire Engine Boss and an Instructor/Evaluator for the State of Idaho. I look forward to helping out where I can in any capacity throughout the great state of Idaho. It is a pleasure and privilege be part of a profession that values morals, family, honor, tradition, and above all, the selflessness to help anyone during their time of need.
