Fire Prevention Week October 7-13, 2018. Oct 7, 2018

Fire Prevention Week is October 7 – 13th this year, and once again we will be hosting Teton County 2nd grade students.  This year Victor Elementary and Teton Valley Community School will be at Station 2 in Victor, while Driggs Elementary, Tetonia Elementary and The Learning Academy will be at Station 1 in Driggs. Engine-10 will visit the Alta school with the Jackson Hole Fire Marshal.

We have put together a short program this year and this year’s topic from the N.F.P.A. is Learn. Listen. Look. To find out more about how you can participate at home, check out: https://www.nfpa.org/Public-Education/Campaigns/Fire-Prevention-Week . We will be handing out public education material, handouts and gifts for distribution to the students at the presentations. The public is more than welcome to stop by the Driggs Fire Station to participate also.
