Fire Prevention Week is October 9th-15th, Sep 27, 2016
Fire Prevention Week is October 9th-15th this year, and once again we will be hosting Teton County 2nd grade students. This year Victor Elementary and Teton Valley Community School will be at Station 2 in Victor, while Driggs Elementary, Tetonia Elementary and The Learning Academy will be at Station 1 in Driggs. Engine-10 will visit the Alta school with the Jackson Hole Fire Marshal.
We have put together a short program this year and this year’s topic from the N.F.P.A. is Don’t Wait Check the Date. http://www.nfpa.org/public-education/campaigns/fire-prevention-week. We will be handing out public education material, handouts and gifts for distribution to the students at the presentations.
